Mabel Mae Pape

Mabel Mae Pape, 91 of Moon Township, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 in Heritage Valley Sewickley. She was born in Dravosburg, PA on March 26, 1931 the daughter of the late Bertha Mae Argyle and George Lape. She was a devout Catholic, participating in the parishes of Holy Spirit and St. Elizabeth and later helping with the CCD program of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Her family was the most important thing to her. She devoted her life to loving and supporting her family unconditionally.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands: Ray Gross Sr. and Ray Pape; five brothers and one sister.

She is survived by two children: Raymond (Debbie) Gross Jr. and Shawnee (David) Zeolla; three grandchildren: Brandi, Brian (Katrina), and Rachel; four great grandchildren: Tristan, Taylor, Katelyn and Addison; a brother: Bernard (Margarita) Lape; and many other beloved nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and great grandnieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 6pm until 8pm in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Moon Twp. 1522 Coraopolis Heights Rd.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 10am in St. Margaret Mary’s  church at 1 Parish Place, Moon Twp., PA 15108
