James Vincent Lupinacci
James Vincent Lupinacci, 82, died on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 in Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver with loved ones present. He was born in Sewickley on August 16,1940 to the late Vincent and Elizabeth (Papasodero) Lupinacci.
James served his country in the US Army, and worked for many years afterward in sales management for the automobile industry where most knew him as Jim. He made lifetime friends during these years. He would be pleased if they would raise a glass of scotch for him.
To the Lupinaccis and Papasoderos that he left, please have a bowl of pasta and glass of wine.
He also had friends and family in the Deep South. No pasta – fry him some catfish and a soft-shelled crab and don’t forget the raw oysters.
The most important thing in his life was his immediate family.
He is survived by a sister, Betty Jane Manna (Dean) and a brother, Richard Lupinacci (Patty).
He left his wife, Claire of 58 years and a son and daughter and his beloved grandchildren. His daughter, Rebecca Lynn Moore (Byron) and Niko, His son, Kevin James Lupinacci (Chrissy) Dominic and Danica and four children that Chrissy brought to our family, Ben, Grayce, Vivian and Sam.
There will be no viewing. Jim asked that you remember him as you knew him. If you would like to make a memorial contribution here are three suggestions that might help.

Jim was a wonderful friend and will be dearly missed. Bob and I have so many great memories of the special times we spent together starting as young married couples . We were so happy that he and Claire were able to come South for our Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary celebration . Sending lots of love to Claire, Becky, Kevin and grandchildren ❤️
Jim, I was so sad when I got the news of your passing. There is now a big hole in my heart that I’m trying to fill with happy memories of the times that we spent together. It’s been said that wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories, and you have left me with so many. Among my favorites are the ones of the summers that we spent in the lake houses at Fontainebleau State Park. I so enjoyed listening to the stories that you told about your grandchildren…….I’ve never seen you happier!
I will also never forget my first trip to Pittsburgh……from your home-cooked spaghetti and meatballs to lobster rolls on The Strip and driving through your old stomping grounds in Sewickley, you made that weekend one to remember for a lifetime!
Now, God has taken away your pain and given you wings to fly. You are beginning a beautiful eternity in Paradise with our Lord, but will live on in the memories that remain in the hearts of those you have left behind. God speed, Cousin Jim…..you’ll be missed, but we’ll see you again on the other side of the stars.

Dear Claire, Becky, Kevin and Family,
There are no words for my sadness. I’m forever grateful for the loving memories I’ve shared with Jim and all of you including Uncle Rick, Aunt Patty, Grams and Pap and Aunt Betty and Uncle Dean. My childhood was enhanced by your entire family and I’m forever grateful!
The food!!(Jim you were the best cook!), the laughs (Jim you made me laugh the mostest!), the camping trips, the Nagshead vacations, the movie nights and cartoon mornings with the best breakfasts and the list goes on and on. Claire and Jim, you both always welcomed me with open arms in spite of Becky and I and all of our endless shenanigans! We had so much fun getting into trouble lol. These memories that I shared with all of you are permanently etched in my heart and soul. Thank you that, I feel so lucky.
Jim I love you so much and I’m sorry for losing touch but thank you for being you and giving me a home in my most tenderest years. And plenty of memories! You will be missed by so many especially me. Love to you all and my saddest condolences.
