Dolores J. “Dee” (Hirschinger) Richards
Dolores J. “Dee” (Hirschinger) Richards, 90, of Moon Twp., passed away on March 26, 2022 in West Hills Health & Rehab. She was born in Sheridan on March 31, 1931 the daughter of the late, Margaret (Mulligan) Hirschinger.
Dee graduated from Langley High School and could often be found working the counter at Hirschinger’s Dairy or skating at Neville Roller Drome in her early years. Dee was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She was caring, compassionate and loved for her quick wit and dry sense of humor.
In addition to her parents, Dee is preceded in death by her husband, Michael A. “Jake” Richards in 2019, and a sister, June Fleming.
She is survived by her three children: Gayle Antram (Art), Moon Twp.; Joyce Boy (Brian), Annapolis; Michael J. Richards (Vikki), Moon Twp. A sister, Carol Bucci, 10 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Wednesday March 30th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Moon Twp. (1522 Coraopolis Hts. Rd.) where a Blessing service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Moon Twp.
