June (Hess) Roycroft
June (Hess) Roycroft, 95, of Moon Township, passed away on August 23, 2021 in her home. She was born in Pittsburgh on June 29, 1926 the daughter of the late Carl & Emma (Richards) Hess.
June retired at 88 years young after 61 years of working at ATT, Ohio Valley General Hospital, PDM, Kinkos/FedEx, and being an awesome mom.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband of 63 yrs., George Roycroft in 2010; siblings, Birt Hess, Lloyd Hess, Baird Hess, and Dorothy Moore; and a son-in-law, Michael McCormack.
June is survived by her four children: Sandra Doughty (David), Moon Township; Beverly McCormack, VA; James Roycroft (Cheryl), NC; Richard Roycroft (Russell Johnson), Moon Township, five grandchildren: Brian McCormack, Michele Schoedel (Greg), David Doughty (Jayme), Sheryl Roycroft, Jennifer Hoffman (William), and seven great-grandchildren: Ashley Campbell (Ryan), Alec Schoedel, Annie McCormack, Joseph McCormack, Aubrie Doughty, Zachary Hoffman, Cassidy Hoffman.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Moon Township (1522 Coraopolis Heights Road) where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM. Committal will follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park.
