Georgia L. Graham
Georgia L. Graham, 77, of Stanley, NC, formerly of Aliquippa, PA passed away on Tuesday August 17, 2021 in Caromont Healthcare in Gastonia, NC. She was born in Aliquippa, PA on September 24, 1943 the daughter of the late George Mallinder and Ada Mae (Kibler) Mallinder. She retired from Aliquippa hospital as a unit clerk on the skilled floor and spent most of her career as a general manager for Prime Medica, working in Beaver, PA, Atlanta GA, and Steubenville, OH. Throughout her life she was involved in the Hopewell PTA, Hopewell Football mothers, the Red Hat Society and the Robert W. Young 8805 Hopewell VFW ladies auxiliary. She was also a longtime member of House of Prayer Lutheran Church, Aliquippa.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband John Chupa, her second husband Lanier Graham and a brother Daniel Mallinder.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Jeffrey & Tammy (Schafer)Chupa, Mt. Holly, NC; a grandson: Nathan Chupa; 2 sisters: Nancy Mallinder, Sue (Samuel) Tranter; a step mother: Lois Mallinder; sister-in-laws: Joy Mallinder, Mary Ann Schmunk and Anna Mae Long, a brother-in-law: Greg Miller and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Sunday from Noon until 4pm in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Aliquippa where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 11am conducted by her pastor, Rev. Mike Sourwine.
Interment will follow in John Anderson Cemetery
