Sandra Jane Shannon

Sandra Jane Shannon, 80 of Conway, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 in Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver.  She was born in Rochester on December 7 ^th, 1940 the daughter of the late Dale and Eva Jane Torrence.  She retired from Freedom Area School District after more than 40 years working and running the cafeteria.    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James W. Shannon, and three siblings: Donna Bissett, Gaylord Torrence and Karen Winland.    She is survived by her two sons: James “Jim” & Gail Shannon, FL; and John “Randy” Shannon, Hookstown; 2 grandsons: Erik (Jenn) Sullivan and Bryan (Annalisa) Sullivan; 3 great grandchildren: Madilyn, Alex and Asher; a brother-in-law: George Winland and numerous nieces and nephews.   A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 10am in Woodlawn Cemetery.   Memorial contributions may be made to the Beaver County Humane Society 3394 Brodhead Rd.
