Donna L. Gossard

Donna L. Gossard, 88, of Rochester, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 in Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab.  She was born on January 16, 1933 in Rochester, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph Loftus and Edna Robinson.  She worked for many years as a tax collector for Central Tax. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan who enjoyed reading, playing cards with her card club and spending time at the Beaver County Senior Center.   She was a member of St. Cecilia Parrish.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas P. Gossard, a great-grandson, Sloan, and brother Larry C Loftus.

She is survived by her three children: Patricia L. Gossard (Bill Leebens), Longmont, CO; Theodore R. Gossard (Linda Cooper), Flagstaff, AZ; and Joseph A. (Amy) Gossard, Rochester; 4 grandchildren Roxanne (Robby) Bryan; Joelle (Paul) Jennings; Thea Cooper-Gossard & Darius Cooper-Gossard; and 3 great grandchildren: Tristan, Margaret Louise and Josie.

As per her request, there was no public viewing.  A memorial mass will be held at St. Cecelia Catholic Church on Saturday September 18, 2021 at 10:30 AM.

Interment will take place in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Rochester.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Rochester Public Library or Center at the Mall (Beaver Valley Senior Center).
