June “Genevieve” Ratliff

June “Genevieve” (Mckahan) Ratliff, 95, formerly of Brighton Twp., passed away on April 22, 2021. She was born in Claysville, PA on June 1, 1925, a daughter of the late John and Emma (Kimmey) McKahan.   She is preceded in death by her husband, Forest C. Ratliff (1996); her sons, Coleman Ratliff, John Ratliff and four grandchildren.   She is survived by her children, Emma Gentry, Shirley Simmons, and Marsha (Stanley) Taormina; 15 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughters-in-law, Loretta Ratliff and Viola Ratliff.   Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, in the HUNTSMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, INC. of Rochester (502 Adams St.) where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 am., with Rev. J.C. Little, officiating. Private interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry. The family would like to thank the Buckeye Hospice staff and Good Samaritan Hospice for their excellent care and compassion.
