Marian Ruth Druzak
Marian Ruth Druzak, 79 of Center Twp., passed away on February 21, 2021 in UPMC Presbyterian. She was born on September 27, 1941 in Center Twp., the daughter of the late Ida Mae and Louis Chop. She was a Lutheran Lay Minister. She enjoyed traveling around to many churches across Western PA to preach when she was needed. Her home churches were Faith Lutheran and Van Kirk Lutheran in Center Twp., but she never hesitated to go to any church when she was called. She was an amazing mother and grandmother, always making sure that everyone had enough to eat. Marian loved to watch sports with her husband, especially the Penguins. She was a fan of Jay Caulfield, and was thankful that he helped her to understand the game better. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons: Mike in 2012 and Charlie in 2020; a grandson Benjamin Druzak in 1995 and a brother James Chop in 2018. She is survived by her husband of more than 60 years, George; three children: Jeff & Cheri Druzak, Presto, PA; Mark Druzak, New Brighton; and Janice & Steven Miller, Palestine, TX; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 3 sisters: Donna Mateer, Frances Lambing, and Georgina Knotts. A Celebration of Life memorial will be held for both Marian and Charlie Druzak on Saturday, August 29 th 2021, at 2pm in the Four Seasons Pavilion at Brady’s Run Park.
