William D. “Mac” MacCumbee Jr.

William D. “Mac” MacCumbee Jr.,76, of Moon Twp, Died on November 27, 2020 in his home.  He was born on February 12, 1944, the son of the late William D. & Lois (Soules) MacCumbee and grew up in Swissvale.

William served his country in the US Army Honor Guard in Arlington, VA. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, and reading.

He is survived by his wife of 55yrs, Nancy J. (Kaczmarek) MacCumbee; a daughter, Debra Griffith, Sewickley; two grandchildren, William D. MacCumbee IV & Ian R. MacCumbee; a sister, Barbara Kann; and many nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by a son, William D. MacCumbee III, a granddaughter, Alexis Karchella MacCumbee and a brother, James MacCumbee.

There will be no public viewing. The Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Moon Twp. is in charge of arrangements.

Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 4 at 10 AM at St. Margaret Mary, Moon Twp.  Interment with military honors will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
