James A. Wilson

James A. Wilson, 75, of Raccoon Twp., Died on Wednesday January 8, 2020.  He was born in Rochester on July 31 1944, the son of the late James Robert & Dorothy Jean (Smith) Wilson.

James retired from PennDOT after 35 years of service, where his coworkers affectionately called him “Wilbur”.  He enjoyed tractor pulling and spending time with his grand kids.

He is survived by Valerie Wilson and three children: James Robert Wilson (Betsy), Hookstown; Jena McKenzie (Kenny), New Brighton; Jamie Wilson and her fiancé Phil Shaffer, Monaca. Nine grandchildren, Garrett, Carter & Ryan Wilson, Clarissa, Alaya, Serena & Jackson McKenzie, Austin & Jase Shaffer and another granddaughter on the way.  A sister, Beth Ann Morrow, a sister-in-law, Carol Wilson and a brother-in-law, Robert Hargest.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Wilson, and a sister, Cheryl Hargest.

Friends will be received on Saturday January 11th from 2-4PM and 6PM until time of service at 7PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Aliquippa (2345 Mill St.) Private interment will take place at John Anderson Cemetery.
