Louis Gill
Louis Gill, 96, of Hopewell Twp. died on June 13, 2019 In West Hills Health & Rehab, Moon Twp. He was born in Cleveland, OH on October 18, 1922 the son of the late Henry & Preciosa (Senra) Dobal.
Louis served his country in the US Army during WWII earning two Purple HeartsHearts. And was a member of New Life Presbyterian Church, Hopewell Twp.
He is survived by his wife of 71 yrs., Thelma (Roberson) Gill. Four children: Vincent Gill (Judy), Raccoon Twp.; Dennis Gill (Susan), Westmorland County; Kevin Gill (Beth) Center Twp.; Diane McBane (Del) Hopewell Twp. Eight grandchildren, Michael Gill (Jessica), Jason Gill (Megan), Timothy Gill (Erin), Carrie Karn (Matt), Jeremy Gill (Bridget), Jeffrey Gill (Rebecca), Marissa Geddes (Brittain), R.J. Whitelock (Becky). Eight great grandchildren, Morgan, Logan, James, Liam, Micah, Bella & Gabe Gill, Elise Whitelock.
In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Dobal. And a special family friend, Emily Weigel.
Friends will be received Sunday June 16 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Aliquippa (2345 Mill St.) A Memorial Service will take place at New Life Presbyterian Church at 11 AM on Monday (Everyone please meet at the church) In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Memorial Fund at New Life Presbyterian Church, Hopewell.

So very sorry to hear of Lou’s passing. He was a terrific man and will truly be missed by those people whose lives he touched.
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Mr. Gill well. He was a great neighbor in the small neighborhood where we resided. He will be missed. I am so glad he adopted my son as a grandson and a part of your family. You all will be in my prayers.
A loss for his loved ones, but a gain for heaven. So good to know that Lou has been a faithful servant to his Lord and Savior. Our prayers for his family as he will surely be missed, but also knowing that he has reached his ultimate goal of beholding the beauty of the Lord!
