Rosemary Hiltz

 

Rosemary (Ross/McComas) Hiltz, 82, of Rochester, passed away on April 10, 2019, after a long-fought battle with Alzheimer’s.  She was born in Hamlin WV., on November 3, 1936, a daughter of the late Ireland and Mamie (Jones) Ross.

Rosemary graduated from Lincoln High School in Hamlin WV., and received an associate degree from CCBC in Business. She worked in various jobs in Beaver Co.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Roy McComas and her second husband, Thomas Hiltz; her siblings, Chester, Opal Brown, Frances Plumbly, Dorothy Salmons, Elmer, Hubert, Raymond, and Elsie Ross.

She is survived by her children, Rebecca (Gary) Hanshe, Rick (Lynn) McComas, Jean McComas, Richard Hiltz; her grandchildren, Ian Brillo, Langdon McComas (Marion), Lindsey McComas, Dustin (Rebekah) McComas, Michael, Zachary and Nicholas McComas and Kellie George; nine great grandchildren; and her 2 sisters, Sylvia Clay and Corena (Ben) Stevens. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 11 am until time of funeral services at 1 PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. of Rochester (502 Adams St.) Interment will be private.

The family wishes to thank the care givers of Providence Health Care for Rosemary’s care over the last several years.
