Dennis George Bosworth
Dennis George Bosworth, 64, formerly of New Brighton, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019, in Salem Community Hospital, Ohio.
He was born on December 8, 1954, the son of George Bosworth and Donna (Triance) Reich. He worked for Phoenix Glass and was a graduate of Riverside High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He was an accomplished athlete in high school participating in football, baseball, basketball, and track. He continued his love for sports throughout his life, enjoying the Steelers, Pirates and the Penguins. He was also an avid hunter. He attended St. Patrick’s Parish in Leetonia Ohio.
In addition to his father, George, he was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles Reich.
Dennis is survived by his son, Christopher (Heather Godwin) Bosworth, Salem, Ohio; his mother, Donna Reich, Vanport; three siblings, Terry (Tony) Kordecki, New Brighton; Chuck (Joyce) Reich Jr., Center Twp.; and Scott (Mary) Reich, North Sewickley; numerous nieces and nephews and his former wife, Brenda Gifford.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the HUNTSMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES OF ROCHESTER, www.huntsmanfuneralhomes.com, 502 Adams St. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Parish, Beaver. Interment will be private.
