Mary A. Leslie

Mary A. Leslie, of Bridgewater, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 in Providence Care Center. She was born on September 3, 1922 the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Diehl) Hazenstab.  She was an operator and supervisor for Bell Telephone as well as Westinghouse in Beaver until her retirement in 1985.  She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Parish in Beaver. She enjoyed volunteering for St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (Holy Family) in New Brighton.  She spent her time cleaning, working in the rectory, and doing anything the church needed help with.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Leslie in 1972; siblings: Margaret Concelman (2-13-19), Doris Bell, Nell Whipple, Adam & Jerome Hazenstab.
She is survived by: one brother Jack (Lil) Hazenstab; one sister Darl Allman; niece: Ruth (Bernie) Mrusek; very special neighbor and friends: Paul “Pete” & Tammy Pavlinich; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3~7pm in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Rochester.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held ‪on Wednesday at 10:00am‬ in Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Parish, Beaver.  Everyone please meet at church.
Private interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, New Brighton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saints Peter and Paul ‪200 Third St. Beaver, PA 15009.‬
