Michael J. Beers

Michael J. Beers, 62, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Friday, January 11, 2018 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.  He was born on March 23, 1956 the son of the late Milton and Betty Lou Beers.  He worked at J&L Steel.  He had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Milton, Mark, and Mitchell Beers.

He is survived by a son: Nathan (Paige) Beers; two grandsons: Ben and Cole; two sisters: Sharon (Duane) Cope, Hopewell Twp., and Shaleen (Hubert) Miller, Hopewell Twp.; a sister-in-law: Paulette Beers, Hopewell Twp.; 2 nieces: Shelly Rager, and Tracy Pitcherd; many great nieces and nephews; a loving cousin Sherri Shuster and Aunt Evelyn.  He is also survived by many more loving cousins, family members and friends.

Friends will be received for a memorial gathering on Tuesday from 4pm until 6pm in the Huntsman Funeral home and Cremation Services of Aliquippa.  2345 Mill St.
