Nancy L. Reed

Nancy L. Reed, 91, of Pulaski Twp., passed away on Friday December 7, 2018 in Heritage Valley Beaver.  She was born on August 2, 1927 in Freedom, PA the daughter of the late Samuel and Antionette Frezzo.  Her mother passed away when Nancy was a baby and was subsequently raised by Jenny Massa.

She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her friends at Life Beaver County.  She faithfully attended St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Parish.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Reed in 2015, and her siblings: Louis, Mary, Lucy, Johnny, and Rudy.

She is survived by her three children: Joseph & Ginny Reed, South Heights; Janet & John Damaska, Wichita Falls, TX; and Thomas & Joellen Reed, Patterson Twp.; 6 grandchildren: Erin (James) Tompkins, Mallory Reed, Chris (Erin) Damaska; Alexandra (Leo) Hooker, Emily (Nick) Moyer, and Liza (Jonathan) Hummel; 6 great grandchildren: Stella, Connor, Barrett, Everett, Piper, and Cecilia.

Friends will be received on Tuesday December 11, 2018 from 4-8pm in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Rochester, where a Rosary Service will be held at 6:30pm .  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday  at 10 am in St. Cecilia Parish (Everyone please meet at church).

Private interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
