Joan F. (Sobol) Thomas

Joan F. (Sobol) Thomas, age 81, of Moon Twp., passed away on March 12, 2018.  She was born in McKees Rocks on December 10, 1936. The daughter of the late Nick & Anna (Gaspich) Sobol.

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Thomas, and her twin sister, Janice Andrasko.

She is survived by her three children, Gary Thomas (Susie), Moon Twp., David Thomas, Moon Twp. and Deborah Zawilla (David), Rennerdale. Six grandchildren, Daniel & Hanna Thomas, Sammy Thomas, Zachary, Michael & Katelyn Zawilla. Her sister Carol Rippole and several loving nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday March 15th from 2-8PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Moon Twp. (1522 Coraopolis Hts. Rd.) Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at 10AM in St. Margaret Mary Parish, Moon Twp. (Everyone please meet at the church) Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Moon Twp.
