Clarence “Bud” Glovier
Clarence (Bud) Glovier, 92 of Aliquippa passed away on Wednesday January 24, 2018 in Rochester Manor and Villa. He was born in Aliquippa on January 7, 1926 the son of the late Clarence and Anna Glovier. He was a retired Industrial Engineer from J&L Steel. He was a US Army Air Corps veteran serving during WWII. He was active in Contact Beaver County, the American Cancer Society, and the American Diabetes Association. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Aliquippa.
Bud is remembered most fondly for his quirky sense of humor and quick wit.Clarence was an avid golfer and fisherman, who loved to tell tales and stories of his dining, driving and fishing escapades.
He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Jane Glovier, and 3 brothers: Byron, Robert, and Richard “Dick” Glovier; and two sisters: Larue Shaffer and Jo Ann Walker; and a grandson Shawn Keller.
He is survived by his son Thomas (Kathy) Glovier, Center Twp.; a step daughter Kay Pohasky, Markleyville, Pa; two sisters: Paula Paxton and Peggy Ludwigo; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Friday from 4pm until 6pm in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Aliquippa and from 10:30 am until the time of funeral service at 11 Am on Saturday in the First United Methodist Church of Aliquippa.
Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Beaver County Chamber or the First United Methodist Church of Aliquippa.

My deepest sympathies to Bud’s family. I volunteered with Bud several year’s ago with the American Diabetes Association but lost touch with him. I have many fond memories of our times spent together. May he rest in peace. Sincerely, Mary Lu DeRose
