Jerry M. “Pops” Clifton

Jerry M. “Pops” Clifton, 65, Born in Paintsville, KY on August 22, 1951 and called home to our Lord on June 20, 2017 from his home in Shippingport, PA. He had a love for God, country, family and friends.  Preceded in death by his loving parents, James & Edna Clifton, Brother, James and sister-in-law, Treva Clifton. Survived by a sister, Sandra Clifton (Miller) of Tampa, FL area. A daughter, Sherree D. Clifton & Randy Wilson Sr. Grandchildren, Samantha (Lester), Randy Jr. (Liz), Courtney, David Reed (dear friend), Jesse (Alli). Great grandchildren, nephews & nieces. Also a lifelong “Army Buddy” Mike Gillan, wife Paula and daughter Amanda. Many friends of “Pops” both on land and waterways. He proudly served his Country for 18 years, moved to dredging then to retirement from Imperial Towing, Port of Shippingport where he found his little “Angel” cat.  As he wished no formal service will be held. However family and friends will be received at a traditional wake at his home on July 1, 2017.  Arrangements were entrusted to the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Aliquippa.
