Barbette “Babs” L. (McLaughlin) Ferry

Barbette “Babs” L. (McLaughlin) Ferry, 90, of Monaca, passed away on December 27, 2016, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley Beaver. She was born in Uniontown, PA., on January 4, 1926, a daughter of the late John L. and Thelma (Phillips) McLaughlin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett “Jim” Ferry. Siblings, Jack (Ann) McLaughlin, Oliver “Bud” (Ruth) MacLaughlin, Robert J. “Blue Jay” (and his first wife,Wyononna), Patricia L. (Merle) Byers, and Jerry McLaughlin; and her brother in law, Albert Miller She is survived by her sisters, Phyllis Miller, Judi (Bruce) Retallack;and sister-in-laws, Norma McLaughlin and Elaine McLaughlin; and many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 10 AM until time of service at 2 PM, in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. of Aliquippa (2345 Mill St.) Funeral services will be conducted by pastors, Paul Zapperach, and Brandon Padgett, of the Bunker Hill Community Church. Private interment will take place in the Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bunker Hill Community Church, 170 Pleasant Dr. Aliquippa, PA 15001
