MINER J. “JACK” BEAL, RACCOON TWP. On June 14, 2016 the checkered flag waved and Miner J. “Jack” Beal crossed the finish line and met the love of his life, wife Dorothy, in God’s winners circle. Dorothy proceed him in death in 2010. Jack was born on 4/3/1927 on Main Street in Aliquippa. He was the son of the late John & Ruth Beal. Jack spent most of his summers as a young boy on his grandfather’s farm in Connellsville. He served as Seaman 1st class in the US Navy during World War II. He graduated from Aliquippa High School and obtained his private pilot license. He worked at J&L Steel and retired as a turn supervisor after 32 years. Jack was an avid Indy and NASCAR race fan. Jack attended the Indy 500 for 60 straight years and the Daytona 500 for 26 years. Jack had many happy times with family and friends at Deep Creek Lake, MD. Jack enjoyed country music, gardening, and traveling the country with his wife. No matter where he went Jack never met a stranger. Due to his many life experiences Jack was a great story teller. He was a very caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be truly missed. Jack was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Aliquippa, American Legion of Oakland MD, B.V. Commandery No.84 Knights Templar, Syria Shriners, B.C. Caravan No.18 Syria Temple, the former Woodlawn Lodge #672, and currently, the St. James Masonic Lodge #457, Bridgewater. He also was awarded the 50 year Masonic Service Emblem. He was a life member of the Eureka Royal Arch Chapter 167, Elks of Oakland, MD and the V.F.W. of Aliquippa. Surviving are his three daughters & their husbands Sandra & Ken Kisucky of Hopewell, Darlene & George Trkulja, & Lori & Tom Pfeifer all of Raccoon. His grandchildren Ken Kisucky Jr. and wife Jill. Joseph Kisucky and wife Lindsey, Katie Rosatelli and husband Chad, Haley Trkula, Elaine, Aaron and Alex Pfeifer. Great grandchildren Jackson & Clea Kisucky & Stella Rosatelli. Sister Bonnie Budzowski & husband Art. Sister- in- laws Patrica Borden & Ida Fedyshyn. The family would like to extend thanks for the loving care that was given to our father at the DCI Dialysis Clinic, Dr. Adoki & staff and the numerous care givers during his illness. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church 2816 Broadhead Rd. Aliquippa. Friends will be received Sunday, June 19th from 1-4 & 6-8 in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. of Aliquippa, (2345 Mill St). A Masonic Service will be held Sunday evening at 7:30pm. A Funeral Service will be conducted Monday June 20th at 11 a.m. by Rev Thomas Bonomo, in the Funeral Home.
