Annabell H. Musgrave

Annabell H. Musgrave was lifted into the hands of her savior in the early morning hours of October 10, 2016. She was born on March 19, 1923 in Oswego County, NY., to the late Roy and Margaret (Schaefer) Wallis. She graduated from Ambridge High School and was employed by Woolworths, J.C. Penny and St. Joe Lead Corp. She was preceded in death by her husband James W. Musgrave in 1979; her siblings, Clarence, Thomas, Dorothy, Esther, Hazzel, Florence and Pearl. Annabell is survived by her loving son, James A. Musgrave and two brothers, Howard and Donald. She is also survived by a special friend Mary Lengyel. She enjoyed gardening, and was well known for her fabulous cooking and baking skills. Her greatest pleasure was in helping others. She volunteered for many years at the Rochester Hospital and Heritage Valley Beavers Woman’s Auxiliary, where she became a life member. She was a coordinator for the Rochester Crime Watch, and a Den mother for Cub Scout Pack 7. Annabell was a member of the Free Methodist Church, where she volunteered a lot of her time and shared many of her delicious baked goods. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. of Rochester (502 Adams St.) There will be viewing Friday from 10 AM until time of services in the Rochester Free Methodist Church, 480 Jefferson St., Rochester. Services will be held at 11 AM by her pastor, Pastor Mel McRoberts. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Rochester Free Methodist Church, in Annabell’s name. Special thanks to Dr. Ferri and the entire staff of the UPMC Cancer Center, and to the nurses and staff at Heritage Valley Beaver, and to the doctors and staff in the IR Cath lab. Annabell appreciated the support of her pastors, Rev. Mel McRoberts and Rev. Robert Singleton.
