James V. Pursley

James V. Pursley, 83 of Hopewell Twp. passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 in Good Samaritan Hospice House.  He was born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania on August 14, 1942 the only son of Vaughn and Margaret Pursley.  He worked as a Locomotive Engineer for the A&S Railroad.   He was an avid outdoorsman; he loved to spend time hunting and fishing.  He also loved riding his motorcycle. 

Jim is survived by his beloved wife: Patty Pursley; and his son and daughter in law: Jim & Renae Pursley, of Hopewell; grandchildren: Marissa Shell and Ryan Gailey; and his great grandchildren: Arionna, Amiya, and Prince Shell.

All services are private. 

Private interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Aliquippa.
