Raymond C. Lenz

Raymond C. Lenz, 92, of Moon Twp. passed comfortably at his home on January 7, 2025. He was born in Pittsburgh on September 11, 1932, the son of the late Carl Lenz & Katherine “Dolly” (Moore) Lenz.

He served his country with honor in the US Army during the Korean War.

Ray graduated from Langley Highschool in Pittsburgh, PA and after an Honorable Discharge from the Army he completed his career with Bell Atlantic Telecommunications as a Systems Analyst in a supervisory role.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann “Margie” (Young) Lenz.  Five sons, Kevin Lenz (Kathy), Evans City, PA; Keith Lenz (Pam) McKean, PA; Brian Lenz (Karen), Imperial, PA; Larry Lenz (Jennifer), Center Twp., PA; Allen Lenz (Patty) Oakdale, PA; his brother, Charles Lenz, niece, Christine, three stepdaughters, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. All will deeply miss him: his sense of humor, sage wisdom and advice, ready smile and sparkling eyes.

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Saunders.
