Barbara Anne (Gallatin) Johns
Barbara Anne (Gallatin) Johns, 86, of Moon Twp., died on June 29, 2024, in the Villa St. Joseph, Baden. She was born in Aliquippa on April 21, 1938 the daughter of the late Millard Dorsey Gallatin & Dorothy Jean (McDonald) Gallatin.
Barbara was a graduate of New Brighton High School. She served several terms as president of the Social Committee for the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Barbara was always supportive of the Arts, especially stage and dance.
Barbara is survived by her son, Jeffrey Roi Johns (Lin), Moon Twp. A sister, Ruth Anne Gallatin Core (Roger), Indianapolis. A son in law Lewis Beaumont, Moon Twp., a brother in law Ed Prince. Her three step-grandchildren & six step-great grandchildren will miss her as well.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Franklin Johns Jr., her daughter Jennifer Lee Johns-Beaumont and sister Merrily Gallatin Prince.
Friends are invited to a memorial gathering on Thursday August 1st from 3-7 PM in The Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Moon Twp. (1522 Coraopolis Hts. Rd.) Private interment at resurrection cemetery will take place at a later date.
