Catherine F. (Herrle) Morrison

Catherine F. (Herrle) Morrison, 70, of South Heights, died on July 12, 2025 in Good Samaritan Hospice House, Wexford. She was born in Sewickley, PA on November 12, 1954 the daughter of the late Carl J. & Florence (Rogers) Herrle.

Catherine graduated from Moon Area High School and worked for nearly 40 years an optician assistant. She especially loved to spend her free time in nature at Raccoon State Park, visiting Florida beaches, and was an avid gardener. Catherine had a natural talent for the arts including sketching, sewing, and baking. Free time was often spent volunteering at a number of facilities, including St. Catherine’s of Sienna.

Catherine is survived by her daughter, Adele Morrison of Orlando, FL, five siblings, Joseph Herrle of State College, Claire Kramer of Moon Twp., Rosemarie Dumm of Michigan, Mary Alice Herrle of Hermitage, William Herrle of Tallahassee, FL & ex-husband, Scott Morrison of Moon Twp.

Friends will be received on Wednesday July 16, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Moon Twp. (1522 Coraopolis Hts. Rd.) Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 AM in St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Glenwillard (Everyone please meet at the church).  Interment will follow at Mt Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell, Twp.
