Edward “Ed” A. Jenkins

Edward “Ed” A. Jenkins, 76, of Moon Twp., passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2021 in Sewickley Hospital. He was born in McKees Rocks on August 27, 1944 the son of the late Garnet Smola and Dorsey Jenkins. He was a hotel engineer at the Courtyard by Marriott. A member and elder of the Coraopolis Presbyterian Church, Ed attended church and served as a handy man. He instilled in his children and grandchildren a strong sense of honor, dedication, and an un-ending love and commitment to family. Ed was always willing to give a helping hand and encouragement. He will be dearly missed each passing day by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife: Barbara Jenkins; 4 children: Todd (Laura) Jenkins, Gibsonia; Craig Jenkins, Chippewa, Kirk Jenkins, Moon Twp., and Irene Cunningham, Greensburg: 9 grandchildren: Nicholas, Christopher, Alexander, Amber Marie, Kevin, Bradley, Chance, Samantha, and Abigail; a brother: Gail Jenkins, McKees Rocks; and a nephew: Chad Robert (Melissa) Jenkins. There will be no visitation. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 23rd at 11AM in the Coraopolis Presbyterian Church.
