Carole (Crowley) Stewart

Carole (Crowley) Stewart, 80, of North Fayette, peacefully on September 16, 2020 in Good Samaritan Hospice House, Wexford. Judy, as she was known by many, was born on March 23, 1940 to Clara (Hand) Crowley and William Crowley in South Dakota. She had seven brothers (Paul, Pat, Bill, Robert, Jim, Mike and Tommy) and one sister (Vicki Bombace).

Carole, a loving mother, former marine and prolific writer (“I Have a Question!: A Tormented Journey to Language”) is survived by her four children, John Alan Stewart, Oakdale; George James Stewart (Teresa), Burgettstown; Julia Anne Stewart, Carnegie; Jeff Todd Stewart (Teri Gilligan), SC. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Stewart Jr., and three brothers (Pat, Mike and Tommy).

There will be no public viewing, the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Moon Twp. is in charge of arrangements.

Friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday September 26th at 2 pm in St. Stephen’s Church, Sewickley. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: St. Stephen’s Church (405 Frederick Ave, Sewickley, PA 15143) or The Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org).
