Richard H. “Dick” Ord
Richard H. “Dick” Ord, 91, of Hopewell Twp., died on May 12, 2019 in Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver. He was born on July 13, 1927 in Coraopolis, the son of the late James & Gladys (Roe) Ord.
Dick served his country in the US Navy during WWII in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Glenwillard United Methodist Church, where he was also a lay minister. He worked for over thirty years at St. Joseph Lead Company, in Monaca.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Rose (Tilly) Ord in 2015. As well as a grandson Tristan McCullough and a son-in-law, Walter Reynolds.
Dick is survived by his three children: Richard L. Ord (Melody), NY; Randy B. Ord (Mary), Hopewell Twp.; Ronda A. Reynolds, SC. 20 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren & one great great grandchild. Beloved extended family, Audrey Underwood (Stan) and Suze Mahan (Bill).
Friends will be received today Tuesday May 14th from 3-7 pm in the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Moon Twp. (1522 Coraopolis Hts. Rd) where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Twp. where the Beaver County Special Unit will perform Military Honors at 12 Noon.

I am very sorry for your loss. Mr. Ord was an excellent example of how people should treat others. He will not be soon forgotten.
