Gary Charles Vandergrift

Gary Charles Vandergrift, 65, of Raccoon Twp., passed away on Thursday November 30, 2016. He was born on November 6, 1951 in Sewickley the son of the late Catherine & Charles Vandergrift, Jr. He was a retired electrician working with the 712 IBEW Local. He was a military buff; he loved to fix and operate military radios. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Laura Wilkinson. He is survived by his 3 children: Sean Vandergrift, Kirsten Novello, and Rachel (Ian) McDermott; 10 grandchildren; 6 siblings: Louann Sanko, Mark Vandergrift, Charles Vandergrift, III, Maggie Bruce, Charlene Andersson, and Christine Vandergrift. He is also survived by his aunt, Diane Brubaker. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday from 2~4 & 6pm until the time of memorial service at 7pm in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Aliquippa.
