Catherine “Kay” Cassidy

Catherine “Kay” Cassidy, 85, of Aliquippa, passed away on Friday October 21, 2016 in Belleview, Florida. She was born on May 12, 1931 the daughter of the late William and Mary Brown. She was a retired nurse from Aliquippa Hospital and loved to sew and crochet. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Evangelical Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Cassidy, and her siblings: Ruth Shobin, Shirley Fox, Bill Brown and Gwendolyn Kerstetter. She is survived by her children: Bill (Cathy) Cassidy, Raccoon Twp.; Thomas Cassidy, Aliquippa; Daniel (Cheryl) Cassidy, Eureka, CA; Sharon (Ken) Newman, Belleview, FL ; and Patricia (Dave) Zaremba, Simi Valley, CA; 13 grandchildren: Billy, Craig, Brian, Greg, Tracey, Jessica, Katie, Ryan, Michael, Rochelle, Marisa, Carly, and Raya; 19 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2~4 & 6~8pm in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Aliquippa. Where a funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 11am. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery.
