Carl T. Falk

Carl T. Falk, 93, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 in his home. He was born on October 26, 1927 in Aliquippa the son of the late Carl and Ellen Falk. He was a retired Metallurgist from J&L Steel. He was a US Airforce Veteran serving in Panama. He was a very active member of House of Prayer Lutheran Church in Aliquippa; he served on church council, taught Sunday School, and was a member of the choir for 30 years. He had a very welcoming personality and was able to talk and make friends with anyone. For many years, he was a referee for baseball, basketball, and football games all around Beaver County. He enjoyed , golfing, reading and working crossword puzzles. He loved traveling. He and his wife traveled to numerous countries and islands. They also enjoyed camping across the USA and Canada. His true love was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 70 years: Dorothy Falk; two sons: Carl (Janis) Falk, Hopewell Twp.; and Donald (Kathy) Falk, Suwanee, GA; 3 grandchildren: Kristin (Donald) Kozik, Reading, PA; Justin (Alicia) Falk, Lower Burrell, PA; Ashley (Jack) Banks, Atlanta; 5 great grandchildren: Jackson, Nicholas, Gabriella, Carter, and Mila; 2 sisters: Carla (Rick) Yacievello, and Kathy (John) Greathouse; 2 sisters-in-law: Joni & Karen Falk; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Cheryl Darlene Falk; 3 brothers: John, Joseph, and Charles Falk; and 3 sisters: Gladys Kuhni, Frances Oakes, and Nora Cook.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 3pm until 7pm in the HUNTSMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE OF ALIQUIPPA. As well as Friday from 10am until the time of funeral service at 11am in House of Prayer Lutheran Church, Aliquippa.
