George Morgan Caler

George Morgan Caler, 91, of Greene Township, Pennsylvania, entered fully into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 7, 2019.

George was a devoted husband to his wife, Nancy of 65 years; a beloved father to his children: George Jeffrey (Susan) Caler, Jerry Ray (Laura) Caler, Lona Jayne (David) Kapanka, and Lori Jill (Robert) Zimmerman; and a wonderful grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 21+ great-grandchildren.

George is survived by sisters, Georgianna Robertson and Linda Caler, brothers, Michael Caler, Jon (Marlene) Caler, sisters-in-law, Ruth Caler and Joyce Caler, and brother-in-law, Joseph Almonte.

George is preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Almonte, his brothers, Paul Caler and Raymond “Jake” Caler, his parents, Raymond & Georgia White Caler, and his step-father, Roy Caler.

George was a WWII veteran and served in the US Navy. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 66, for 44 years.

George loved the Lord, his family, and his country.  His greatest blessings were his children and grandchildren.

Friends are invited to a funeral service on Saturday October 12, 2019 at 10 AM in the New Life Presbyterian Church, Hopewell Twp.  Interment will follow at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Hookstown where the Beaver County Special Unit will render military honors at 2PM.

The Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Aliquippa is in charge of arrangements.
