Margaret M. (Davie) Zakrajsek

Margaret Mayne Zakrajsek, 90 of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Saturday February 2, 2019, in Brighton Health and Rehab.  She was born on August 6, 1928 the daughter of the late William and Marie Davie.  She was a graduate of Duff’s Business School and worked various jobs. Before she retired, she worked the Deli counter at Shop and Save.    She was also a member of Ohio United Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred in 1982; two brothers: William and John Davie; and a sister Pauline Muller.
She is survived by her 4 children: Nancy & Edward German, Bonita Springs, FL; Fred & Patricia Zakrajsek, Hopewell Twp.; Diane & Alan Byers, Hopewell Twp.; and Janice & Michael Casper, Jackson, NJ; 6 grandchildren: Sarah (JW) Ramp, Scott and Shane Byers, Meghan, Melissa and Jason Casper; a great granddaughter Julia Ramp; and two sisters-in-law: Marilyn Davie and Lois Davie, both of Hopewell Twp.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 4~7pm in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Aliquippa. Where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30am with the Rev. Nick Marlatt officiating.

Interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
