Floyd W. “Bill” Loughman

Floyd Willaim “Bill” Loughman, 80, of Rochester, went to the Church Triumphant, on December 4, 2017. He was born in Waynesburg, PA on December 12, 1936, a son of the late Kenneth and Genevieve (Finch) Loughman.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nancy (Berkley) Loughman; his children, Floyd (Lisa) Loughman, Jr., of Findlay, OH., Leigh Ann (Gary) Majetic, of Freedom, Lynn Rae (Roger) Baker, of Beaver, and Laurie Marie (Karl) Ludwig, of Wexford.

He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren, Michael, Taylor, Amanda, Delanie, Matthew, Andrew, Karl David, and Kole; and his Sister, Rosemary Voolitich, of Missouri City, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Larry Kermit Loughman.

Bill joined the USMC on February 20, 1956. He was a proud Marine to the end. After his honorable discharge in July of 1958, Bill met his wife of 59 years, Nancy Belle (Berkley). They were married on December 12, 1958.

Bill was a 42 year employee of Columbia Gas. He loved his Steelers and Penguins. He loved for his Sunday in the fall. Pittsburgh lost a true die-hard fan.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30am Thursday in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. of Rochester (502 Adams St.) Rev. Gregory Clagg will officiate and military honors will be conducted by the Beaver Co. Special Unit.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 393 Adams St., Rochester.
